Conservation Services Group, Inc. (CSG) is a growing, dynamic, national non-profit company providing energy efficiency, renewable energy, and environmental services and products to private market customers, utility companies, government, and public benefit entities. CSG is dedicated to helping reduce the environmental impact of energy usage for both residential and commercial customers.

 

CSG holds contracts with National Grid and NSTAR to deliver energy efficiency services for existing homes in Massachusetts. The administration of these programs includes providing financial incentives for energy efficiency work on homes, maintaining a network of participating contractors, and program marketing.

 

Position Summary:
CSG is currently seeking a self motivated individual with a passion for energy efficiency in construction. This Account Manager will partner closely with the existing program management leadership team to continue to support the clients and customer needs while at the same time developing a network of 40 contractors. They will work closely with contractors to be the liaison between all program participants: contractors, utility clients, and Inspectors to improve the overall quality of the work in this program.


Improving the contractor network will be achieved by: regular visits to places and business and job sites; monitoring and training contractors members as a result of their quality assurance reviews, working with contractors to maintain proper backlogs, and timely reporting to management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Increase program participation by identifying contractors/builders, qualifying them as potential program prospects, and developing them into program partners.
  • Manage contractor, customer, and Program Partner relationships. Present program goals and opportunities, develops/facilitates/nurtures business relationships, and explains technical/operational issues to customers, participating contractors, and program partners.
  • Work with program managers to establish performance goals for participating contractors and monitor progress toward goals.
  • Stay current on latest Program initiatives, policies, procedures, etc. and proposing ideas for improvement. Develop advanced technical knowledge in energy efficiency and building science.
  • Track and enter all required program data in an accurate and timely manner. Provides proper and timely reporting of program progress.
  • Ensure Program Partners are aware of all current program guidelines, incentives and requirements and are properly equipped and trained to participate in the program. Provide contractor training, in classroom or one-on-one as needed.
  • Makes public presentations at industry/trade conferences and promotes program and CSG.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years experience working in the weatherization or HVAC trades.
  • Ability to facilitate communication between various program stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve problems and provide resolution to complicated issues.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • BPI Certifications are desired or required to obtain within 3 months of starting.

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
