As the leader of product marketing for the Americas region, this individual will be responsible for the critical interface between the headquarters product development and corporate marketing organizations.
The role this person holds will create the product roadmap for the Americas region after gathering the market trends and voice of the customer looking up to five years for a horizon. Disciplined and constant updating of the roadmap, training the sales organization and representing the Americas region to HQ will be a primary task.
The role this person holds will oversee the marketing communication efforts and market intelligence gathering required to both promote our product strategy as well as provide guidance for those new product development activities that support the Americas region.
The role reports directly to the President of the Americas region and has a small staff of marketing communication, product management and market analyst professionals reporting to them. As manager of this group the development, guidance and productivity of the group is directly their responsibility.
Process ownership of all the groups activities such as product roadmaps, ROI on MarCom efforts and sales tools creation and product training as well as others to be identified by the continuous improvement minded leader will be key factors for evaluation of performance.
Ultimately the role this individual plays in increasing our market share, awareness, knowledge will be the determining success factors helping the Americas team.
