Energy Federation, Inc., a national leader in promoting energy efficient and renewable energy is looking for a Program Manager. Ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.  Must also be out-going and display a high degree of professionalism with the ability to continuously prioritize, multitask, problem solve and work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.  Will work closely with members of EFI management team (IT, Customer Service, Finance, Sales) as well as EFI’s clients, regarding different aspects of the various energy conservation programs. The tasks and responsibilities in this role will evolve based on client and program needs. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary client contact responsible for facilitating development and implementation of various energy conservation incentive programs, including program design and data/reporting requirements.
  • Support the RFP process as EFI pursues new incentives business, contributing to service design and service pricing.
  • Provide ongoing liaison for customer service issues, data/invoice inquiries, and program guidelines as well as other related tasks
  • Generate and verify summary reports, detail reports and data for invoicing various programs, including regular financial reconciliation of rebate program accounts
  • Serve as a liaison to the Customer Service department regarding any customer program questions that arise due to evolving program policies and procedures
  • Work with the Data Processing department to ensure that all data processing representatives are fully informed of the rules and guidelines relating to the Program Manager’s specific programs
  • Review periodic invoices for management fees and other billable activities and ensure supporting data files/reports support invoices
  • Manage and maintain both customer and client confidential information
  • Process information utilizing Microsoft Office and other PC-based applications
  • Conduct quality control measures, including reviewing customer applications for rebates, comparing them to program guidelines and rules and validating all information is entered accurately in various databases
  • Occasional travel to meet with clients and to represent EFI at industry related conferences
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Successful candidate should have:

  • 2-4 years related work experience, such as program coordination and working directly with clients at a senior level
  • High degree of discretion dealing with client and customer information
  • Excellent organizational and proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, with strong attention to detail mandatory
  • Self-starter traits, with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with process flow analysis and problem-solving techniques
  • Experience with account reconciliations.
  • Ability to work standard hours (Monday – Friday 8am-5pm) and also have the flexibility to work additional non-standard hours when required to complete tasks at various times to meet client deadlines
