The Marketing Manager will support the sales organization through demand generation programs that drive pipeline growth. This person will understand best practices and processes for B2B lead generation, including press releases, customer referral messaging, web site messaging and content effectiveness, as well as meaningful metrics to measure results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive brand development/management plan
  • Manage third-party branding, public relations, advertising, and graphic design firms as needed
  • Manage and maintain website content
  • Work with customer clients to promote recent installations among their client base
  • Develop “signage” for new installations.
  • Create “digital signage” with customer clients to promote on their website and lobby displays
  • Implement effective, targeted advertising campaigns
  • Manage the planning and development of thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, articles, webinars, and presentations
  • Leverage marketing automation tools to develop, execute, analyze and measure demand generation programs
  • Develop strategy documents, sales presentations, and scripts as needed
  • Maintain competitor information and provide insights to management - track on a quarterly basis
  • Establish and report on campaign metrics and ROI; communicate goals/results to organization
  • Track marketing qualified leads generated by campaigns, as well as follow-on sales funnel activity
  • Develop Social Media strategy to ensure inbound and outbound campaign integration


  • 7+ years of B2B marketing, preferably marketing services or solutions
  • Experience including, but not limited to email marketing, website marketing, SEO and social marketing
  • Experience with brand development
  • Experience with public relations and advertising
  • Strong relationships with local media outlets and/or local PR firms
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral - including writing marketing campaigns
  • Experience with educational campaigns for new technologies/markets strongly desired
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems such as
  • Industry relevant experience in solar energy/renewable energy a plus
  • Strong goal orientation and work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, small company environment
  • Demonstrated self-starter
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
