Description

    • Supervise the day-to-day activities of assigned field staff, office staff and installation contractor. Ensure completion of scheduled small multifamily energy savings measures. Review/resolve scheduling issues.
    • Review and approval of Field Inspector time and mileage weekly
    • Track and contribute data to the monitoring of performance standards. Analyze and prepare results as requested by Program Manager.
    • Provide technical guidance and coaching to field staff. Measure and document performance and results.
    • Conduct on-site reviews to ensure quality and employee performance standards are met. Document on site reviews.
    • Interface with client representatives, contractors and building owners to ensure quality service delivery, answer questions and resolve issues.
    • Stays current on latest Program initiatives, policies and procedures. Maintains and enhances technical knowledge in energy efficiency and building science.
    • Ensures Program Partners are aware of all current program guidelines, incentives and requirements and are properly equipped and trained to participate in the program.

Requirements

  • BS/BA or equivalent business experience
  • Three to five years experience in applied building science, energy efficient construction, or related activities
  • BPI certification shell and analyst
  • Experience in managing residential construction, energy efficiency measures, and residential energy auditing.
  • Solid customer service and client relationship management skills and enthusiasm for energy conservation. Ability to effectively communicate technical and program concepts to contractors, consumers, and other interested people or organizations. Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Computer proficiency, experience with Windows-based office applications required. Familiarity with computerized building energy modeling software such as REM/Rate, ResCheck and Home Check, Manual J, or other residential construction software preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation to project sites as necessary within the Nicor Gas service territory

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
