Description

Position Summary:

Project management and production of proposals developed in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) generated by CSG’s Business and Client Development team.

 

 

    • Manage cross functional process for proposal content for RFP responses. Manage the preparation, coordination and assembly of proposals to meet client deadlines. Support client interviews with presentation development.
    • Develop and standardize proposal outlines, formatting, layout and design.
    • Ensure all client requirements and guidelines for responding to RFP’s are met and adhered to.
    • Coordinate and interact with various internal business development, product, financial, marketing, legal, client and senior management teams
    • Work across the organization to provide prospects and clients with the best fit products, services and solutions based on their unique and individual needs. Meet firm proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; coordinate requirements with contributors; present proposal status information in review meetings; transmit proposals (including hard copy and electronic/online submittals).
    • Track opportunity status, ensuring timely updates of RFPs, opportunities and client information to database and weekly reports.
    • Participate in the development and on-going updates and management of an online proposal reference library used to archive information required for RFP responses.
    • Develop and implement documentation tools and processes to efficiently track RFP data.
    • Coordinate and contribute to design of client development materials including presentations and collateral.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, and/or energy / environmental science or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5yrs experience in publication or proposal design, layout and development. Previous project management experience preferred.
  • Proficient or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PPT, SharePoint, Publisher, Adobe (or other document publishing software); SalesForce preferred . Willingness to learn and utilize new or updated tools and technologies.
  • Detail oriented person with exceptional organizational, interpersonal and teamwork skills required. Experience with content management, project management, document design, formatting and layout. Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills. Must be a self-motivated and results-driven individual.
  • Due to the nature of CSG’s business and RFP deadlines, willingness and flexibility to work evenings and weekends near proposal due dates are critical.

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
