Position Summary:

CSG is currently seeking an experienced, take charge individual who is self-motivated, and has excellent financial, communication and organizational skills to be a Finance and Administration Manager for our 60 person information technology team based in our Westborough, MA office. This position reports to the Executive Vice President of Software and Services and will be responsible for managing the financial and administrative support functions of the department.


Principal responsibilities include financial management, project tracking, and client billing. Other responsibilities include assisting the EVP with financial analysis and budgeting, establishing systems and procedures for tracking the software development process, and monitoring expenses and expense accounts.


  • Prepare monthly client billing and supporting documentation.
  • Manage the monthly financial close for the department (including accruals, billable hours and inter-company entries).
  • Perform day to day financial management including expense and accounts payable review.
  • Support EVP in developing annual departmental budget.
  • Reconcile budget to actual on a monthly basis, preparing variance analyses as required .
  • Prepare monthly goal and performance tracking and reports.
  • Interact with internal clients for a variety of activities and reports as needed.
  • Develop and manage data analysis and systems for a variety of tasks, activities and reports.
  • Identify risks or problems with current processes and procedures and recommend changes.
  • Coordinate training participation for IT team members.


  • Bachelor's degree in business -related field, preferably accounting
  • 5-7 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and cost control.
  • Knowledge of internal control, auditing policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to develop and use database and tracking systems.
  • Ability to effectively and simply communicate financial information, policies, and/or procedures.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to foster a cooperative work environment.



Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
