The Territory Account Manager is responsible for relationship and pipeline management for each assigned Dealer and/or Affiliate with the objective of maximizing the Dealer and/or Affiliate’s adoption of OneRoof Energy’s (ORE) financing services for solar installation projects in a fast paced, driven environment.



Main Job Duties:

  • Maintain and develop existing business relationships through continuous communication, training, and follow-up on projects.
  • Create and perform professional presentations of company product and services to Solar Dealers and Affiliates. Educate Solar Dealers and Affiliates on the benefits of ORE products and services and train them to present benefits to homeowners in a compelling fashion.
  • Visit Solar Dealer and Affiliate business sites, ride-a-long to homeowner site, and attend trade shows as needed.
  • Identify additional programs and services that would provide value to Solar Dealers and Affiliates and homeowners.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with Solar Dealers and Affiliates and internal staff.
  • Consistently meet or exceed ORE account objectives. Evaluate and make recommendations on Solar Dealer and Affiliate performance with respect to meeting program minimums and position in the market.
  • Understand Dealer/Affiliate’s business model, needs and practices. Articulate the ability of ORE to meet the clients' needs.
  • Understand and communicate ORE’s products, services, pricing, processes, requirements and systems.
  • Maintain intimate familiarity with the status of all projects, from Lead/Proposal/Homeowner Signature to Final Completion. To accomplish this, lead weekly meetings with their assigned Operations Team (Lease Processing, Project Management) to review the status of each project in the pipeline. In addition, use Quickbase data, reports, and dashboards.
  • Lead additional meetings with the Marketing, Credit, Payment or other teams as needed to resolve issues and collaborate on new initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

Professional Certification(s): Must have a valid driver's license.

Specialized knowledge: Solar industry and product knowledge preferred.

Computer skills: Basic/Intermediate skills in MS Office products.

Experience: Minimum 5 years outside sales/account management experience with a focus on business development. Minimum two years experience in the solar industry preferred.

Competencies: Strong spoken and written communication skills. Enthusiasm for developing business and interacting with a variety of people. Ability to identify solutions for difficult or conflict situations, seeking feedback for conflict resolution. Proven success orchestrating multiple activities to accomplish goals.

Travel: Up to 50% (Must be willing to travel locally)
