Position Overview:

RPM has an immediate opportunity for someone who is looking to make a difference. In this position, you will reach out to perspective clients – educating them about opportunities to improve their operations and their bottom line by developing and implementing strategic energy and resource reduction plans. As a part of the RPM team, you will become an indispensable advisor, steering them through the confusing world of energy efficiency and sustainability planning while bringing successful projects and processes to fruition.

Your Role on the RPM Team:

  • Lead the company’s business development effort - exploring relationships with potential clients through mail, email, phone calling, social media, in-person meetings and events.
  • Shepherd interested prospects through the process of understanding RPM’s unique approach and the value it offers.
  • Assist in developing and implementing aspects of client-specific sustainability plans.
  • Work with clients to share their success stories.
  • Take the lead in preparing a wide range of marketing materials including case studies and white papers.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills are essential to this position.

Requirements

Your Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in environmental science, engineering, computer science or other related technical field.
  • A minimum of five years experience in energy consulting and/or mechanical systems for commercial buildings and/or other related fields.
  • Tons of energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to engage new clients.
  • Desire to take on new challenges and learn new technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • High degree of professionalism and trustworthiness.
  • Outstanding collaboration, communication and customer skills.
  • Attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed.
