The individual selected for this position will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating data source-target mappings, ETL scripts, and work and process flows. They will translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement against them. Additionally, the candidate will provide technical support to other members of the team. Understanding of the technologies we use and a passion to extend and expand that knowledge is very important. You will work both autonomously and as a team committed to producing results.



  • Develop and support ETL processes for data loads and extracts
  • Lead definition and development of ETL technical standards
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation and problem resolution.
  • Analyze and translate functional specifications into technical specifications.
  • Write SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL code where needed to extract, transform, and load data ensuring compatibility with all tables and customer specifications
  • Perform data analysis and validation, troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues
  • Effectively articulate the business impact of data issues to peers and stakeholders
  • Effectively collaborate with team members, internal and external clients.
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills
  • Communicate with management and others regarding project opportunity and risks in an effective and timely manner
  • Assist in the preparation of required documentation
  • Develop, test and implement program logic.


  • BS/BA in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • An in-depth understanding of systems and data architecture
  • A drive and passion for technology
  • Extensive development experience within a large organization
  • Self starter
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be a team player and be able to work in an operationally critical, diverse and dynamic environment
  • Strong skills in analysis, design, development and deployment within enterprise application systems.
  • Strong understanding of Relational Data Models.
  • Strong understanding of XML, schemas and validation
  • Understanding of SOA
  • Expertise in SQL and the ability to build SQL statements and scripts
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across complex systems
  • 8+ years development experience
  • 5+ years ETL design and development, preferably in a large organization
  • 5+ years with ETL tools such as Oracle Data Integrator, CloverETL or Pentaho Data Integration
  • 3+ years Oracle 10g/11g and/or SQL Server
  • 3+ years SQL, PL/SQL and or T/SQL
  • 3+ years working with Web Services
  • 3+ Years working with XML and Schema validation.
  • Experience with SQL tuning and optimizing using TKProf and other Oracle tools is a plus


Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
