Position Summary:

The Account Manager will be responsible for both developing and maintaining the client relationship as well as ensuring the success of the program’s implementation, contractual obligations and ongoing production deliverables.

Essential Position Functions:

  • Supervise personnel assigned to the account and manage organizational issues within the company operations
  • Ensure adherence to all of GoodCents’ business expectations and requirements
  • Take charge of the Field Supervisors while supporting all of their corporate interactions for the next level of project support
  • Handle client relationships and help the Field Supervisors manage the client expectations and directives.
  • Constantly build and improve company image and identify additional ways to improve further its promotion.
  • Set up targets and make sure that deadlines are always met by Field Supervisors.
  • Take responsibility in ensuring that only the best candidates are being selected to work for GoodCents and the utility companies we serve and that all recruiting standards and methods are followed.
  • Play an important role in marketing to bring in more clients for further improvement of sales and production.
  • Supervise and approve the budget allotted for the program/s.
  • Deliver reports, and frequent meetings with competence.
  • Work with managers, business experts and management analysts in dealing with the technical aspects of our company.
  • Lead the project team in various planning and execution of the operations.
  • Analyze problems and methodical approaches to maximize the efficiency of the operations.
  • Annual financial budgeting and monthly forecasting: True up analysis pertaining    to P&L responsibility and authentication, Customer accounts receivables management ensuring customer payment compliance is being enforced.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with financial personnel reviewing all aspects of the projects and next steps to plan for an increase or decrease revenue due to income impacting issues
  • Compile and prepare reports for our customers on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensure data integrity in reporting structure and work order concluding as per GoodCents outlined data requirements
  • Monthly customer project invoicing and verification including but not limited to data verification, addition device input and technician completion of all required fields for reporting revenue capturing requirements.
  • Reconciling, verifying and vouchering vendor invoices and all the financial cost associated with the program and ensure proper coding of expenditures allowing for proper financial and costing reporting.
  • Inventory management including ordering, tracking and usage.
  • Planning with our financial department, utility customer installation expectations, backlog numbers and manufacturing supplier to ensure a steady flow of devices to meet our customer’s goals and expectations.
  • Management of all company-owned assets including, but not limited to, communication equipment, computers, project consumables, uniforms and vehicles. Vehicle management also requires a regular open line of communication with our corporate fleet manager to discuss, repairs, maintenance and fuel consumption.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve escalated customer service issues
  • Managing, mentoring, training of all staff and ensuring they are completely understanding of their position description.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, or experience in a related field/ equivalent experience will be considered. 
  • At least 5 years of relevant operational experience
  • Proven purchasing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed required performance level in a fast- paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.​
  • Strong organization and project management skills interfacing with all levels within the business, as well as clients and vendors.​
  • Exceptional standards for quality and strong attention to detail.​
  • Must be able to multi-task and shift focus immediately as the business demands
  • Willingness to expand outside comfort zone and strict definition of job responsibilities to address needs as identified
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.​

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Physical demands: prolonged sitting; use hands to finger or handle objects or controls; occasionally reach with hands and arms; occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; walking short distances; talk; hear; prolonged viewing of computer monitor.
  • Work environment: indoor office environment as well as some field exposure.
  • Up to 25% travel may be required
  • Must be available to work hours and days in addition to the customary work week.
