We are seeking a Budget Development Analyst to support our business development team.  The successful candidate will work with our internal deal team which evaluates opportunities and develop proposals for new business in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) from our existing clients and new prospects.  


We are seeking a self-motivated and goal-oriented person who works well independently and within a team.


  • Interface with internal and external team members (partners, allies, etc.) to evaluate proposal requirements and develop strategies as it relates to pricing services, evaluating program goals required within the RFP’s using a significant degree of evaluative judgment and constructive thinking to determine and implement the winning pricing strategy for the bid.
  • Meet firm proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval.
  • Analyze and facilitate financial, technical and regulatory information with management as it relates to proposal development. 
  • Develops tools to allow for pricing and savings data to be analyzed, tracked, summarized, and reported in strategy templates, tables, charts, and graphs; interfacing with internal business clients, as necessary.
  • Develops and maintains a central database of relevant information for pricing and savings analysis.
  • Write pertinent sections of the responses for RFPs.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business is required.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in budget preparation.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel is a must.
  • Experience developing tracking systems in Excel and working in SharePoint is also necessary.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Skilled in self-organization and time management.
  • Must be detail oriented to ensure the accuracy of budget and analysis.
  • Have the ability to quickly gather and analyze data and grasp customer requirements under time constraints.
  • Ability to work accurately under firm and quick-turn-around deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
  • Due to the nature of CSG’s business and RFP deadlines, willingness and flexibility to work evenings and weekends near proposal due dates are critical.


Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
