Energy Federation, Inc., a national leader in promoting energy efficient and renewable energy products through direct product sales has an opening for an Outside Sales Representative.  As a leading sales contributor, this position is responsible for customer prospecting, negotiating and closing sales transactions for the company in the Mid-Atlantic region.  The successful candidate is responsible for new customer acquisition, as well as retaining high customer relationships with existing clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Attain monthly sales and margin goals for assigned territory and customer portfolio
  • Grow current customer relationships as assigned through a scheduled contact plan execution
  • Prospect and close new customers and new business
  • Attend and represent EFI at trade shows in region
  • Report sales activity on new accounts, revenue, utilization, calls, etc. using company CRM (salesforce.com)

 

Requirements

Successful candidates should have:

  • Proven track record of consistently delivering against sales quotas and key sales activity objectives
  • Process-focused and highly organized, analytical and metrics-driven approach to driving sales results
  • Salesforce.com experience
  • Must possess strong negotiation and selling skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work independently and travel up to 30+% in Mid-Atlantic Region (NJ to NC)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 5 plus years of successful sales experience (proven quota attainment history) in the energy efficiency industry
  • Willingness to support Energy Federation’s mission statement
  • Understanding of energy efficient home construction products/systems and Mid-Atlantic Utility landscape a plus

As an Outside Sales Representative you will receive a base salary, competitive benefits package, plus a monthly commission incentive plan with no earnings ceiling.
