Description

Conservation Services Group seeks a can-do product marketing manager to position and promote CSG products and services and help drive new business and expand existing business. This newly created role will be the day-to-day Product Marketing liaison with Product Development, Product Management & Innovation and Business Development as well as with Corporate Communications and CSG’s Regions teams. The ideal candidate has proven experience packaging products and services and developing go-to-market strategies and customer acquisition for new and existing products and services. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications.

  • Work with Product Development and Product Management and Innovation to understand what truly differentiates CSG products and services
  • Drive competitive analysis and positioning
  • Translate technology and product or service features into concise, easily-consumed value propositions and messaging
  • Support Business Development and Regions with content, materials and programs needed to effectively promote and present CSG and partner products and services to prospects and clients
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, plans and timelines, and articulate and track the interdependencies that impact those plans
  • Team with Product Management and Innovation to establish products and services pricing
  • Brand, name and trademark new products and services; refresh brand as required for existing products and services
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications and others to bring products and services to market on a timely basis
  • Drive client engagement and acquisition (e.g., through lead generation, website traffic, social media engagement, referral programs, partner marketing, webinars, white papers, etc.)
  • Work with Corporate Communications and Marketing Analytics to execute client acquisition programs, analyze and synthesize results and introduce new ideas to improve client/prospect marketing

Requirements

  • B.A./B.S. in Business, Marketing or related field; M.B.A. a plus
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience and a proven track record in Product and/or Service Marketing within small to mid-size companies
  • SaaS, web services experience
  • Energy, energy efficiency, sustainability and/or service industry experience a plus
  • Seasoned B2B marketer; B2B2C a plus
  • Comfortable working in matrix management organizations, and cross-functionally
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with a knack for translating industry lingo and techno-speak into everyman language
  • High energy, highly motivated, deadline-driven, well-organized, independent worker with get-it-done attitude

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
