In order to ensure a successful delivery of services for CSG’s New England Consulting & Construction division, an experienced Field Project Manager is needed with experience in both New Construction and Green Programs. The Field Project Manager will actively build relationships with key clients and partners while at the same time being responsible for managing projects and supervising project teams. This individual will take responsibility for an area of business within the group and help to develop the strength of other staff members in this team. Sound knowledge of building science and the construction industry plus excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are needed for this position as it requires representing CSG and the Consulting & Construction division to a wide variety of stakeholders, including decision makers and implementers in the field.

  • Manage multiple projects in a specific geographic region or market sector, such as Green building
  • Oversee project teams to ensure that project deadlines are met and desk and field work is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard
  • Track projects and ensure paperwork is submitted in a timely manner for billable events including signings, first and final inspections.
  • Generate monthly forecasting on status of projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Perform outreach to new prospects
  • Present programs and consulting services to potential clients
  • Communicate requirements and advantages of various programs to owners, developers, builders and architects and help them find cost effective ways to meet standards
  • Provide support and field training for new contractors and subcontractors on program standards and means and methods of achieving compliance
  • Oversee ongoing training of raters in diagnostic testing and energy modeling
  • Work with contractors and subcontractors on failing projects to bring them back to compliance
  • Represent CSG at regional building and energy industry trade shows
  • Conduct trainings, create and deliver presentations, for CSG staff and for external clients
  • Recognize opportunities for consulting work, help to prepare scopes of work and cost estimates to clients


  • BA or BS preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of construction, building science and energy codes
  • Excellent technical kill and the ability to perform a broad array of diagnostic testing
  • Sound knowledge of New Construction Programs and the ability to present requirements to a variety of key stakeholders
  • Three to five years of program experience
  • Proficient in REM/Rate, Revit, WrightSoft, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented and the ability to balance and manage multiple tasks and deadlines for multiple programs


Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
