SUMMARY:

The xChangePoint group of Ameresco Intelligent Solutions provides energy efficiency, automated demand response and other energy project installation and operations services to industrial and commercial customers. 

 

Analytics Manager is responsible for analysis quality, analytical tool development, use and training, and for the efficient production of customer Key Performance Indicating Reports (KeyPIRs).  The successful Analytics Manager regularly reduces xChangePoint labor costs and improves analysis quality through advanced data analysis techniques, analytical tool improvement, baseline standards development, data pattern recognition and analyst training.  Typical industrial and manufacturing equipment technology and process data analyzed includes refrigeration, HVAC, chilled water, lighting, compressed air, boilers, thermal systems, dryers, ovens, evaporators, water, production, and emissions data. This position will be located in Costa Mesa, CA

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide hands on technical management in support of product development of xChangePoint software and solutions.

Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop, maintain and improve data analysis and quality control tools.

Coordinate and produce timely issuance of KeyPIR’s with superior customer satisfaction.

Manage outside analytics firms providing consulting services to the xChangePoint Team.

Develop and maintain measurement and verification tools.

Reduce Energy Analyst labor cost per data point.

Reduce labor cost associated with Energy Action Plan production per data point.

Support the Solutions Team with direct customer duties in the office and field. 

Develop systems, processes and procedures that enhance the profitability of xChange Point software and services.

Plan, budget, track, and effectively manage organizational and team resources to achieve regional business objectives.

Recruit, hire, develop, train, and evaluate team in accordance with approved business plan.

Establish and monitor progress of individual and team goals.

Budget, track, and manage project expenses.

Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory safety, standards, and protocols.

Cultivate and foster positive business relationships with all parties.

Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.

Requirements

 

BS in Mechanical Engineering or energy infrastructure-related four year technical engineering degree.

Advanced Engineering degree or MBA highly desirable. 

Minimum 5-10 years technical engineering, design, ESCO, and/or consulting experience developing and implementing energy efficiency and renewable technology projects.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and quantify energy and operational needs, use, and savings projections.

Excellent working knowledge of building automation and energy management systems, facility operations, and installation projects involving chiller and boiler plants, motors, VSDs, HVAC retrofit, building automation, energy conservation, or distributed generation projects.

Proven experience with building simulation, project estimating, measurement and verification.

Financial planning and budget experience, with ability to develop a business case.

Advanced proficiency with MS Office and energy analysis software.

Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required. 

Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage multiple priorities and business relationships.

Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing. 

U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.

May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

Extensive travel required.
