Position Summary:

CSG is currently seeking a high-energy, customer service-driven, HVAC Account Manager.  The Account Manager is responsible for recruiting, enrolling and training HVAC program allies for a utility-based High Efficiency Heating System Replacement Incentive Program. The Account Manager accomplishes this by direct contact with current and potential allies. In order to provide the full range of program services, the Account Manager coordinates activity with the appropriate Program Management, Quality Assurance, Technical Support and/or Administrative staff.

 

  • Increase program participation by identifying HVAC contractors, qualifying them as potential program allies, and developing them into program partners.
  • Manage program ally and customer relationships. Present program goals and opportunities, develop/facilitate/nurturs business relationships, and explain technical/operational issues to customers and program allies
  • Stay current on latest Program initiatives, policies, procedures, etc. and proposing ideas for improvement.  Develops advanced technical knowledge in high efficiency heating equipment.
  • Meet program goals for recruitment of HVAC program allies in terms of expected development of program capacity and delivery of production and savings goals of the program.
  • Educate potential and existing allies of the business proposition for the program.
  • Ensure proper and timely reporting of program progress to the CSG Program Manager.
  • Ensure program allies are properly equipped to participate in the program.
  • Ensure program allies are aware of training opportunities available through the program.
  • Ensure program allies properly register for participation, including meeting insurance requirements, proper certification or accreditation, and proper completion of the various program participation agreements and addendums.
  • Ensure program allies are aware of all current program guidelines, incentives and requirements.
  • Concentrate recruiting efforts in geographic areas in need of enhancement and on allies who are or are most likely to be high volume, high quality producers, or such other priorities as may be established during the course of program implementation.
  • Review program ally incentive applications for accuracy.
  • Refer selected applications to Quality Assurance (QA) staff for inspection and assist program allies in navigating through various tiers of competency.
  • Provide technical support to program allies.

 

Job Requirements

  • 3-4 years’ experience selling or managing projects in the HVAC field.
  • Ability to learn and implement program guidelines, incentive systems and requirements.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and train program allies on various technical standards.
  • Demonstrated customer relations skills including ability to understand program ally concerns about program operations and to suggest solutions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a multi-layered team, and to take initiative while maintaining excellent reporting.
  • Employment is contingent on a satisfactory background check.

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
