Business Development Internship

 

We are a national clean-tech energy education provider dedicated to training incumbent workers, veterans and career-changers. Our group of bright, hard-working, passionate individuals are committed to providing articulate, concise, easy to understand curricula, courses and online programs to help candidates advance in our sustainable and environmentally conscious society. 

 

We offer courses in solar installation, building science, home and commercial energy auditing, and sustainable design. Our product development team is also in the process of branching out across other forms of renewable energy sources and clean-technologies. It is definitely an innovative, fast-paced and exciting place to be!

 

Our interns learn the many different facets of a small business including PR, Marketing, Operations, Business Development, and Government Relations. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about the clean technology industry and who wants to gain hands-on experience at a sustainable-focused start-up in Midtown Manhattan. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Contact construction, architect, and engineering firms to promote our brand and services 
  • Schedule individual and corporate classes with firms of all trades and sizes 
  • Demonstrate ability to work from an automated CRM system 
  • Assist in contract and proposal development 
  • Prepare, issue, and verify invoices and other sales management deliverables 
  • Assist in marketing and sales of all product lines 
  • Act as liaison with internal departments such as operations and government relations

  • Passionate about training and workforce development to prepare Americans for the growing demand in the cleantech industry.
