Description

Ensure successful delivery of CSG’s Massachusetts Code Compliance Support Initiative  (CCSI) in the New England Consulting and Construction division. Responsible for managing the MA CCSI and assisting in the management of the RI Code Compliance Enhancement Initiative (CCEI).  Provide leadership and direction to a diverse and highly technical team comprised of both CSG staff and partner consultants.  Responsible for account management  activities related to these contracts with clients, partners and trade allies.  Manage program delivery including coordinating meetings, identifying and securing training venues throughout the state for residential and commercial trainings, working closely with CSG’s commercial partners and overseeing the training and circuit riding activities of partners.  These are high visibility projects that are being followed by CSG executives and industry leaders, so excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are needed for this position as it requires representing CSG to a wide variety of players, including utility clients, partners, trade allies and training attendees.  Strong relationships with key utility clients and industry partners would be advantageous.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee CSG’s technical staff and consultant partners in the CCSI to ensure  presentations,  trainings, and technical advice are of a consistent and high quality
  • Compile and manage  data collection to ensure all relevant information is logged for reporting and evaluation purposes
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly summary reports for clients
  • Develop costs case study for CCEI & CCSI codes presentation
  • Coordinate Field Guide production for MA and RI initiatives

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinate comments for 2014 Stretch code
  • Manage CSG’s high-rise multifamily projects in MA
  • Take an active role in writing grant submissions, proposals and RFPs
  • Coordinate conference presentation submissions
  • Represent CSG at regional building and energy industry trade shows
  • Lead efforts to secure consulting work; assess and present opportunities to potential clients

 

Requirements

  • Must have experience with residential and commercial energy codes.
  • BS/BA and/or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of the energy efficiency industry and building science  
  • Knowledge and/or experience of construction industry, related building construction consulting services, and the ability to promote CSG’s work in these areas to a variety of market players
  • Eight years of project management experience, including 3-5 years personnel management
  • Proficient in a variety of common software applications including SalesForce, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented and ability to balance and manage multiple tasks and deadlines for multiple programs

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
