Description

The CSG Account Manager Role is a resource provided to Mass Save® Contractors in order to support their success in the Program.  The Account Manager is expected to be well versed in all aspects of the Program, assisting the HPC Contractor with compliance, technical training and administrative processes; providing them with the means to succeed in the Program while helping to achieve our clients’ savings goals.

 

The Account Manager’s responsibility is to build relationships with each participating Contractor and then to leverage those relationships to have a positive effect on contractor performance and compliance with all qualitative and quantitative goals of the Mass Save Home Energy Services Program.  This position will also support the QA/QC team in their inspection and scoring efforts, using these results as a mechanism to further improve Contractor performance.  The Account Manager will also facilitate Customer/Contractor communication as necessary to resolve disputes, and to advise Contractors and Program Administrators on fair and equitable solutions as needed.

 

  • Meet program goals for recruitment of home performance contractors in terms of expected development of program capacity and delivery of production and savings goals of the program.
  • Articulate to potential and existing partners of the business proposition for Home Performance.
  • Ensure proper and timely reporting of program progress to the CSG Program Manager.
  • Coordinate with the Data Support / Computer Training staff to ensure that program partners can utilize all program software and ensure partners have access to necessary training certification through Building Performance Institute (BPI).
  • Ensure program partners are properly trained and they are aware of all current program guidelines, incentives and requirements to participate in the program.
  • Ensure program partners properly register for participation, including meeting insurance requirements, proper certification or accreditation, and proper completion of the various program participation agreements and addendums.
  • Maintain high level of communication through written, oral and direct contact with program partners.  Conduct routine site visits to verify program consistency and in process weatherization work (75% travel is required).
  • Concentrate recruiting efforts in geographic areas in need of enhancement and on partners who are or are most likely to be high volume, high quality producers, or such other priorities as may be established during the course of program implementation.
  • Build relationships with program stakeholders to resolve customer concerns and improve overall customer satisfaction

 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years experience selling or managing projects in the fields of residential home construction, home improvement, or HVAC; or 3-4 years administering energy conservation marketing programs.
  • Complete knowledge of integrated building science is highly desired - all Account Managers will be required to obtain Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification as a Building Analyst I.
  • Ability to learn and implement program guidelines, incentive systems and requirements.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
