Description

Ensure successful delivery of CSG’s Energy Code Support Services in New York State..  Provide leadership and direction to a diverse and highly technical team comprised of both CSG staff and partner consultants, as well as providing direct technical support services to code officials and other stakeholders.  Responsible for account management activities, regular communications and reporting to CSG’s client, coordinating meetings, working closely with CSG’s commercial and residential support partners, and overseeing delivery of remote and onsite technical support services.  This is a high visibility project that is being followed by CSG executives and industry leaders, so excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are needed for this position as it requires representing CSG to a key account and a wide variety of market actors.  Strong relationships with government codes and energy entities, utilities, and industry partners would be advantageous.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement marketing and implementation plan
  • Arrange for continuing education credits for appropriate delivered services
  • Oversee CSG’s technical staff and consultant partners to ensure  technical advice are of a consistent and high quality
  • Manage  data collection to ensure all relevant information is logged for reporting and evaluation purposes
  • Oversee administrative staff including tracking incoming call volumes, preparation of monthly and quarterly summary reports for client, and internal QA
  • Convene regular partner meetings to review obstacles, opportunities, and consistency in providing technical support activities

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Support other CSG programs and initiatives in the Mid-Atlantic region as needed
  • Participate in statewide or regional forums or conferences related to new construction and/or codes
  • Training and mentoring of newer or junior CSG staff

 

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • Must have experience with residential and commercial energy codes.
  • BS/BA and/or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of the energy efficiency industry and building science  
  • Knowledge and/or experience of construction industry, related building construction consulting services, and the ability to promote CSG’s work in these areas to a variety of market players
  • Eight years of project management experience, including 3-5 years personnel management
  • Proficient in a variety of common software applications including SalesForce, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented and ability to balance and manage multiple tasks and deadlines for multiple programs

 

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
