Description

CSG is seeking a full time Program Manager for its Peoria, IL office. The Program Manager will serve in a key role managing CSG’s participation in the Ameren Illinois HVAC related programs. The Program Manager has full administrative, field operations, technical, reporting and financial accountability for the Ameren Illinois HVAC related programs. The Program Manager will manage and grow the existing program and will be responsible for achieving program goals, which include successful management of the residential HVAC related programs, achieving production and savings goals, managing the Quality Assurance services, ensure satisfactory delivery of CSG overall services to Ameren Illinois HVAC related programs participants and vendors, and recruit, train and coordinate program installation and service contractors.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the performance, results and success of the program and its staff
  • Manage contractor recruitment, orientation, qualification, and training processes
  • Design and manage a Quality Assurance program
  • Manage the delivery of services through the field, financial, administrative, and technical support functions of the program
  • Manage overall program relationships
  • Ensure client and customer satisfaction
  • Represent CSG and Ameren Illinois in local industry and trade forums
  • Develop and manage relationships with trade allies and partners including trade associations, industry players, state energy officials, utilities, trade schools, and others
  • Collaborate with other CSG central services business units including IS, HR, customer contact center, ABS, marketing, and finance
  • Meet or exceed all financial, strategic, and developmental external programmatic and internal company goals 
  • Meet contractual and program obligations on time and within budget, and operating complex projects with multiple levels of authority and influence
  • Effectively use performance management and coaching to achieve and reward results within the team
  • Ability to use schedules or project management techniques to track project implementation
  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, general accounting and program reporting
  • Regional travel required (Ameren territory covers 44k sq miles within Illinois)

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience plus 5-7 years management experience
  • Demonstrated success with program management and client service in the field of energy efficiency or related industry, preferably with large scale program delivery requirements.
  • Experience with meeting contractual program obligations on time and within budget, and operating complex projects with multiple levels of authority and influence.
  • Ability to convey information in group or public setting, e.g. meetings using principles of effective presentations. The ability to listen effectively. Knowledge and use of correct business style for written documents with the ability to compose concise and clear documentations.
  • Ability to translate broad objectives into specific tasks with the appropriate resources and use of time management systems for a smooth implementation.
  • Ability to use schedules or project management techniques to track project implementation.
  • Budget, finance, forecasting, and reporting experience.
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC equipment and its relationship to the whole house approach of retrofitting residential buildings is required.
  • Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst and Shell Professional certifications required (can be obtained within 6 months of hire)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Strong organizational skills are required. Candidate must demonstrate an ability to initiate, coordinate and prioritize responsibilities and follow through on tasks and projects.

 

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
