PECI is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer to join our Application Development Group. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the development and support of applications that enhance PECI’s product offerings and increase our operational efficiency. Working in an agile environment, this person will contribute to sprint planning, story definitions and product deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support new applications on the platform
  • Support and enhance existing based applications
  • Use APEX, Visualforce, and Sites to code triggers and classes in support of the PECI software framework
  • Assist in the creation of stories and the understanding business requirements
  • Collaborate with administrators to create solutions
  • Participate in sprint and release planning activities
  • Identify design-level risks and communicate them to stakeholders



  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years development experience
  • 3+ years developing software in object oriented languages
  • 2+ years of direct experience in using APEX and SOQL
  • 1+ years of direct experience with Visualforce technologies and sites
  • Experience developing with SQL Server and/or other relational databases, including the use of triggers, views and stored procedures
  • Experience with XML and web based services required
  • Proficiency in HTML/XHTML, XML, Javascript, AJAX, JQUERY and SOAP- & REST-based web services
  • Experience in the basics of Administration required
  • SQL database design experience with attention paid to extensibility, maintainability, and stability desired
  • Ability to quickly learn complex business processes and write software to automate them
  • Ability to work constructively with diverse people and with parties that may have divergent needs and interests
  • Excellent technical writing abilities. In particular, ability to analyze complex technical issues and succinctly convey conclusions, inferences, and applications in general terms understandable to diverse technical and public audiences
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead project meetings
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility for working with a fast-paced organization with extensive external accountabilities and communications needs
  • Must be organized, detail oriented with ability to think critically
  • Ability to transfer knowledge and aid in the development of co-workers
