Description

Responsible for reviewing Sales demands, including forecast and/or customer orders, and ensuring the production and Sales/Ops coordination is achieved to fulfill the demand. Responsible for purchasing products and materials, maintaining vendor relationships, and working with Sales for BOS and Projects management.

Job Functions:

  • Support Sales by monitoring demand, production plans and output, and coordinate Sales/Ops function to ensure sales commitments are met.

  • Supervise KSI Purchasing activities and staff.

  • Support KSI business process improvement, with strong PVPS project focus.

  • Production Order coordinator for PVPS and MyGen BOMs.

  • Procures standard and one off materials and products at the lowest possible cost for KSI.

  • Maintains SAP part number files, descriptions, costs, vendor records, vendor literature, etc. Negotiates discounts and terms of payment.

  • Provides sales personnel cost quotes and cost verifications for non-standard and new products.

  • Places and tracks project drop-ship orders and notifies appropriate departments of fulfillment.

  • Distributes new product information/literature, as it becomes available.

  • Prepare daily MSP and ASP trackers.

  • Update Power Point presentation on VNC.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Material Management, Accounting or related discipline.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Purchasing role.

  • Microsoft Office suite experience required and SAP experience preferred.

  • Effective communication skills to facilitate team work and effect customer satisfaction with internal and external customers.

  • Must be organized/detail orientated with knowledge of planning and purchasing function and sources of suppliers.

  • Excellent project, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Process oriented, proactive, customer service driven problem solver, who is energized in a changing fast paced environment
