We are looking for a self-motivated high potential talent as Finance Accountant with alignment with ERM’s Purpose and Beliefs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages accounts receivable process and ensure timely collection of payments.
    • Issuing invoice and record transactions by working with consultants.
    • Cash applications and Account Reconciliation, along with resolving any discrepancies.
    • Prepare AR reports and distribute to internal stakeholders to facilitate cash collection.
  • Manage accounts payable process and ensure timely payment to vendors.
    • Verify Payment Request From submitted by consultants and record transactions
    • Payment matching and accounts payable reconciliation
  • Bank transactions
    • Support junior accountant for payment run on bank portal
  • Project Accounting
    • Project setup: check contracts/PO/Pricing Tool, and approve project setup on a system
    • Project setup amendments: make necessary changes in a system upon scope and budget change
    • Periodically review project variance report and facilitate the recovery of variances with consultants
    • Periodically review work-in-progress report and facilitate the billing process with consultants
    • Focal point within Japan finance team for intercompany contracts with group entities worldwide
  • Reporting
    • Prepare weekly cash balance report and submit to the Regional Finance
    • Prepare and distribute Weekly & Monthly Reports, such as Sales, Pipeline, UB and so forth
    • Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by senior management
  • Monthly Closing
    • Prepare monthly accruals and reversals as part of monthly closing
    • Update Balance Sheet Schedules (e.g. prepaid, fixed assets, accruals, etc)
  • Tax Reporting
    • Prepare and maintain Fixed Assets List for Tax filing at the end of Finance Year as required.
  • Ad-hoc projects
    • Participate in ad-hoc project and work with cross-functional team

Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years of accounting experience in multi-national corporation
  • Good written and verbal communication both in Japanese and English are must
  • Experience with major ERP system and MS Excel, along with quick learning of new systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and team-oriented player
  • Attention to details in fast-paced environment
  • Openness to challenges and enthusiastic about self-developments
  • Qualifications in Accounting and/or Business is plus

    • 請求書の発行や記帳
    • 入金消込、アンマッチの解消
    • 売掛金レポートを作成、社内ステークホルダーへの共有、売掛金回収の促進
  • 買掛金管理
    • 支払依頼書の確認および記帳
    • 支払い照合と買掛金の消込
  • 銀行取引
    • 銀行ポータルサイトでの支払い処理
  • プロジェクトアカウンティング
    • プロジェクト設定: 契約書/注文書(PO)/価格決定ツールを確認し、システム上でプロジェクト設定を承認
    • プロジェクト設定の修正: スコープおよび予算の変更に応じてシステム内で必要な修正業務
    • プロジェクト予算差異レポートの定期的なレビュー: 発生した予算差異の回収促進
    • 進行中レポートの定期的なレビュー、請求プロセスをコンサルタントと連携し進める
    • ERMの海外グループ会社との契約に関する連絡窓口
  • レポーティング
    • ウィークリーのキャッシュバランスレポートを作成し、リージョナル財務へ提出
    • 売上、パイプライン、UBなどの週次・月次レポートを作成・配布
    • 日本およびアジアのシニアマネジメントから依頼されるアドホックレポートを作成
  • 月次決算
    • 月次引当および処理戻し入れの準備
    • 貸借対照表の明細更新(例: 前払金、固定資産、引当金など)
  • 税務申告
    • 会計年度末の税務申告に必要な固定資産リストの準備
  • 通常業務とは異なるプロジェクト
    • 部門を横断したメンバーと共に通常業務とは異なるプロジェクトに参画

応募資格

【必須(MUST)】

  • 多国籍企業での経理の業務経験(5~7年程度を想定)
  • 日本語および英語の双方で業務を遂行できる語学力
  • 大手ERPシステムやMS Excelの経験、および新しいシステムに迅速に習熟できる能力

  • 経理や会計に関わる資格をお持ちの方優遇
