The Chief Financial Officer’s (CFO) organisation is a driving force behind the creation of greater value in the company. We are responsible for the financial and legal functions, providing professional support and advice, and for representing the group in financial markets. A key task for us is to ensure high levels of ethical and financial compliance with corporate and external requirements. By means of active stakeholder management, CFO will manage the market perception of Equinor in Norwegian and international financial markets. GBS is the internal provider of global business support services to the Equinor group. GBS delivers services and expertise within finance and control, IT, HR, real estate and facility management, project resources and deliveries, safety and sustainability, management system and service management. Our services are delivered to all countries in the world where Equinor is present. LAWYER - LABOR- AND EMPLOYMENT LAW - (Jurist) Our labor- and employment law specialist unit supporting the Equinor corporation globally on employee relations and legal matters has a vacancy to be filled as soon as possible. The unit currently counts 12 positions. Office locations are in Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger. **Job Description** • Advise on labor- and employment law matters as well as other adjacent legal disciplines. • Support the business on individual employment law cases. • Advise on pension and data protection, union agreements and Equinor’s rules and regulations. • Participate in- and support on negotiations- and cooperation with trade unions. • Support on international and local employee matters. • Advise management on industrial relations matters • Assist and advise on employment law in relation to International contractual and compliance issues with high complexity. • Support the business with legal and strategic advice for complex projects, reorganization processes, M&A etc. • Lead litigation cases from Equinor end through selection and management of external counsel. • Lecture and present on legal topics and cases in connection with internal educational initiatives and case presentation for decision makers. **Qualifications** • Master's Degree in Law- or Cand. Jur degree with strong results. • Excellent written and oral language skills in English and Norwegian. • Knowledge and experience within employment law (including collective labor law). • Lawyer’s license (advokatbevilling) and / or experience as deputy judge (dommerfullmektig) is considered favorable. • Experience from working with strategic and legal tasks of high complexity and significant cross- or deep organizational impact. • Pedagogical skills. • 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred. **Personal Qualities** • Analytical, proactive, strategic and digital mindset. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • International mind-set. • Teamwork- and collaboration skills. • Caring. • Ability to live by our safety and security expectations. • Respect the individual, help others to succeed and contribute to a positive working environment. **We Offer** Not just a job: a career.
