FAQ

Why work with GreenJobs.com

GreenJobs.com has the expertise and experience to make the right placement and connect with the best candidates that you are looking for in the renewable energy market. Finding the right talent with the background you want is getting harder these days. Talent gets taken fast. GreenJobs.com has the reputation, brand, and process to find and attract them. We are GreenJobs.com and we know from experience this makes a big difference in the recruiting process.

We currently work with another recruiting firm, can we also work with GreenJobs.com?

Yes and no.

We obviously realize there are a lot of different green energy recruiting players out there on the market.

However, we only work on an exclusive basis for all the positions we recruit for. We don’t like competing against other firms and often the same candidates will be hit up by multiple recruiters. This looks bad on us and the you as a potential employer. We accept that we are not ideal for doing all placements for all positions.

How Does Solar Energy Work?

Solar energy is harnessed by capturing sunlight using solar panels or photovoltaic cells. These cells convert sunlight into electricity through a process called the photovoltaic effect. This electricity can be used to power homes, businesses, and more.

What is Wind Energy and How is It Generated?

Wind energy is generated by harnessing the kinetic energy of moving air masses. Wind turbines, with their rotating blades, capture this energy and convert it into electricity. The electricity is then transmitted for use in homes and industries.

What is the Lifespan of Solar Panels and Wind Turbines?

Solar panels typically have a lifespan of 25-30 years, while wind turbines can last 20-25 years or longer with proper maintenance. It’s important to note that the actual lifespan may vary depending on the quality of the equipment and environmental conditions.

How Can I Switch to Sustainable Energy at Home?

To switch to sustainable energy at home, you can install solar panels, a small wind turbine, or a geothermal heat pump. You can also explore energy-efficient appliances, LED lighting, and smart home technologies to reduce your energy consumption.
