The successful candidate will join a team of professionals supporting a growing opportunistic investment platform. It is an exciting opportunity for a business associate or project associate with financial industry experience to work in a fast-paced environment that provides significant opportunity for learning and growth. The Client Solutions Associate plays a crucial role in supporting business enterprise and client service within the Client Solutions team. This position is responsible for engaging with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high-quality client service through a structured service delivery framework, and delivering accurate and timely investment reports. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and a client-centric mindset to enhance the client experience and reporting delivery processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investment Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and maintain investment reports for internal and external clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze investment data within reports, proactively addressing discrepancies and root causes.
  • Perform ad hoc, daily, and monthly reconciliations and variance analysis for client investment portfolios.
  • Research and resolve reporting issues while continuously improving reporting processes.
  • Develop and refine customized reporting packages that meet client and business requirements.

Client Service & Relationship Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external client inquiries related to client reporting or account administration and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Engage with clients, Relationship Management, and ISG Operational teams to enhance service efficiency.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients by ensuring clear communication, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a clear and professional manner.
  • Document and refine procedures to improve consistency and regulatory compliance in reporting and client interactions.
  • Work directly with the internal stakeholders to complete new report requests. Follows through with stakeholders to ensure that their reporting needs were met by addressing all client requirements.
  • Effectively collaborates and communicates with other internal team members to meet client deadlines.

Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve reporting enhancement requests and maintain data integrity.
  • Support process optimization efforts by identifying and implementing efficiency improvements.
  • Participate in special projects that enhance the Client Solutions team’s reporting and service capabilities.
  • Represent the Client Solutions team’s needs in cross-functional initiatives and system enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, and/or Economics
  • 6+ years’ experience in an accounting or Investment Management or Insurance Reporting function
  • Demonstrated process orientation and problem-solving skills. A strong detailed orientation and work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively on cross functional teams/projects
  • Confidence in ability to assess and respond quickly and adapt to a fast paced, evolving environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and comfortable independently interacting with all levels of staff
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income, Structured Products, Private Transactions, Derivatives, Mortgage Loans, Investment Operations processes, or project management experience is a plus
