PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage complex programs and projects through the design/specification and implementation of strategic initiatives.
Serve as a SME on Apollo's internal and external middle office systems (IVP Recon and IVP Cash Master) that handle Cash and position Reconciliation and management of Wire Payments.
Work with middle office professionals to understand and produce business and functional requirements and collaborate with the development teams to implement solutions and manage releases/deployments to UAT and Environment.
Role will require to understand users queries and provide solutions which may need some tactical and strategic tech solution within IVP Recon and Cash master applications.
Work with Apollo internal resources as well as application vendors to handle the production issues and identify the root causes of such issues and put in solutions to address those.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and build professional relationships on an ongoing basis.
Identify and resolve program blockers as needed to ensure timely and successful delivery of strategic enhancements and capabilities,
Create project stories and Business Requirements documents to capture required enhancements and changes for strategic and tactical programs in the trade middle office space. Partner with the engineering and development teams on building and testing these capabilities.
Develop end-user training materials and deliver training to a broad user base.
Partner with the business to ensure SLAs and other key metrics are met or exceeded.
Identify best practices for optimizing efficiencies and system use both internally and externally.
Qualifications & Experience
8-14 years industry full cycle experience of SDLC methodologies and approaches, including refining business requirements and defining functional specifications.
Candidate should have fair understanding of Trade processing, Reconciliation, fund accounting, middle office, Swift payments (MT103, MT202), Internal Transfer, FX transactions, SSI set up, Fund administration, PE/Hedge fund/MF SWIFT
This role should involve prior experience working in Manual Payments/Internet Banking process of various foreign banks/wires environment and able to understand end to end Payment flow.
Role will require candidate to understand Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) and identify any missing/incorrect information including different bank formats and accordingly guide users and get it corrected in IVP cash master.
Candidate should be well versed with payments related to subscription and redemption.
Strong experience with Business Analysis methodologies, such as BPM, use case modelling, user stories, etc.
Excellent conceptualization, analytical, and logic skills enabling comprehension and development of complex technical and business issues, topics, and plans.
Excellent communications skills, with the ability to work with business users as well as other members of the technical staff.
Knowledge and experience with SQL to analyze and research data as needed.
Knowledge and experience with reference data management.
Adept at listening and soliciting feedback from middle office users and stakeholders.
Must be self-directed and motivated while being a solid team player with a strong work ethic .
Ability to thrive in a high-intensity and faced paced environment
Educational Requirements:
* Advanced degree from a top university strongly desired
