Position Overview

Apollo’s Client & Product Solutions (CPS) organization globally supports the end-to-end sales, marketing and servicing of our global investor base. CPS globally supports clients originating from large Institutional asset owner channels (ICPS) as well as individual investors and their intermediaries originating through Global Wealth Management (GWM) channels including banks and financial institutions, independent financial advisors, and family offices. CPS India teams work collectively across various functions to build capabilities that support delivering excellence at scale in our global client services, business services, digital, data & enablement (DDE) functions.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a senior, hands-on product leader, who will refine the product line vision, align the execution roadmap and data dependencies and work closely with partner functions to execute the multi-year vision. This individual will work closely with global product and sales stakeholders, technology teams, partner groups within DDE to develop capabilities for pre-onboarding, onboarding, and servicing phases of the client lifecycle. As a Product Owner, you will understand business needs and servicing priorities, navigate the existing product landscape and develop the target state vision and strategy for how to achieve it.
1. BI Strategy & Product Ownership
• Execute the multi-year Business Intelligence roadmap for distribution intelligence
• Align product strategy with business goals, prioritizing enhancements and managing a BI feature backlog
• Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle for BI capabilities—from requirement gathering to delivery, change management and monitoring adoption
• Develop and track success metrics and KPIs to ensure value delivery
2. Data Intelligence & Architecture
• Lead the design and implementation of data models, pipelines, and analytics layers for sales, marketing, and distribution enablement
• Serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating functional needs into scalable solutions
• Oversee data quality management processes and governance to ensure high-confidence reporting
• Enable self-service analytics and scalable reporting solutions using tools like Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx, and SQL
3. Technical & Functional SME
• Setting best practice standards for data pipeline, dashboard design and performance optimization
• Design and develop emerging tools and technologies including AI/Machine Learning and LLM applications
• Partner with CRM and data teams to augment our analytics capabilities front to back
• Develop and execute change management plans including stakeholder alignment, communication strategy, training sessions, and documentation
• Proactively identify process or reporting gaps and lead cross-functional initiatives to close them
• Drive and run transformation projects, stay abreast with latest technology trends, evaluate and onboard new tools to enable scale

Qualifications & Experience


• 8–12 years’ experience in analytics or product management roles, ideally in asset management, with a proven track record as a hands-on product owner
• Strong background in BI tools and data platforms (e.g., Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Alteryx, Salesforce)
• High data literacy, analysis techniques, and ability to communicate insights to drive collective decision-making
• Good understanding of data science, machine learning, and generative AI concepts and application in business
• Experience managing SDLC, backlog prioritization, agile delivery cycles, and stakeholder management
• Organized and effective execution – set and manage expectations, model work ethic, proactively manage efforts across multiple teams, rigorously communicate
• Excellent documentation, analytical, and reasoning skills (e.g., adheres to best practices in meeting management, regularly completes tasks and conducts business with minimal supervision).
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and genuine willingness to learn, results-oriented, and highly accountable
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with various internal and external constituents
• Flexible with working hours and time zones
