Position Overview

  • Providing leverage and serving as an effective advisor to the firm's senior professionals.

  • Within respective business coverage, responsibility for a wide range of human capital disciplines including onboarding, employee relations, training and development, succession planning and talent mapping, compensation, and retention of top talent, diversity and inclusion.

  • Engaging talent in their career and developmental needs.

  • Conceive, design, and execute effective learning and development programs and interventions for employees at all levels including leadership development programs through understanding organizational needs, focused academic research, and external perspective.

  • Deep dive into Periodic Training Feedbacks and Effectiveness Assessments and present the same to Management indicating overall L&D Effectiveness.

  • Triaging ER situations as they arise, acting with the highest levels of professionalism.

  • Depending on the successful candidate's background and interest, taking on additional responsibilities and/or special projects.

  • This individual will be expected to remain flexible and help support other key HC initiatives

  • Partner closely with the various global HC teams to ensure seamless employee experiences

  • Build external relationships to ensure strong working knowledge of the broader external landscape including talent best practices, benchmarking (including compensation) and building a talent pipeline and help create more visibility for Apollo as employer of choice in India.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA in Human Resources or other relevant area preferred.

  • 5-7 years of progressive HCBP experience in financial services with high growth preferred

  • Matrix experience required – ability to navigate across the organization

  • Ability to consult and build credible relationships with senior leaders

  • Strong analytical and quantitative orientation, including proficiency with excel

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills

  • Excellent execution skills, Hands on, attention to detail; a self-starter, ability to multi-task

  • Results and commercial orientation

  • Effective and collaborative team player

  • High trust and integrity – can be counted on to do the right thing

  • Solid working knowledge of local employment laws

  • Experience in managing high performing professionals
