The IT Client Services team is responsible for workstation hardware, Windows OS support, O365, fax, file, print, video conferencing, audio conferencing, Amazon workspaces, email services, and other essential technologies. We design, implement, maintain, and support these solutions always with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
What will you own?
Building and configuration of new workstations for the workstation refresh project that replaces Windows 10 hardware with Windows 11 hardware
Assistance with password resets, account lockouts, and other user access issues
Support for all issues related to client service technologies (Email, MS Office suite, Windows OS, software deployment, printing, desktop/laptops, etc.)
Capturing all incidents, service requests, and resolutions accurately in the IT ticketing system
Escalation of unresolved issues to other Client Services team members in a timely manner
Required Skills
Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities
Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills
Working knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11) and Office applications
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in virtual and in-person environments
Previous experience in a helpdesk or support role is beneficial
Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university
Must be a rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelorβs degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline
Enrolled full-time with a minimum of 12 semester hours
Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Eligible to work in the U.S. in accordance with BCIS guidelines
Able to provide an official student transcript and any other required documentation
Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with others
Demonstrated leadership potential through academic, extracurricular, or community involvement
Internship eligibility ends upon graduation from the academic program
