The Billing Analyst position supports all Business Areas within North America and works closely with the business, finance and other Invoice to Cash functions to provide invoicing and customer dispute support.
Billing Analysts are accountable for the investigation and resolution of billing disputes which may include the issuance of manual debits and credits as needed, invoice corrections for incorrect pricing, incorrect tax, etc. for all regions of the Industrial Gases business in North America. Billing Analysts are also responsible to answer customer calls during normal business hours, as well as utilize external customer portals for webbing of invoices.
Billing Analysts are responsible to adhere to the Global data standards established for Billing and Disputes and to understand the various work processes specific to each Business Area and/or Region. In understanding the SAP System requirements, the Billing Analysts are the decision makers in when and how to resolve customer disputes and which billing type is appropriate in certain instances. The Billing Analyst is also responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements.
This position works very close with the Customer Master Data, Credit/Collections and Business Support teams, Tax, as well as Commercial Teams including Sales, Sales Support, Marketing & Product Management.
