Job Description

Reporting to the VP of the Region, the Data Specialist (Co-op) shall maintain and ensure integrity of all information received from central branches in order to achieve cohesiveness between the new ERP system and the previous system in place, and further support after conversions have completed. As a Co-op Data Analyst with a focus on SPA (Special Pricing Agreement) rebates, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our pricing strategies and ensuring accurate and efficient rebate management. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals, gain hands-on experience in data analysis, and contribute to our company's success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Managers to gather and enter the proper information for their corresponding branches in the new ERP system
  • Communicate with the P21 team to ensure cohesiveness in information
  • Lead managers on proper organization of data groups and files
  • Price list validation through internal procedures
  • Build price matrixes using spreadsheet when necessary
  • Communicate with team to gather missing information
  • Perform macros and Excel advanced formulas for price management
  • Be comfortable with flexibility of tasks and responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data related to SPA rebates.
  • Identify trends and patterns in rebate data to inform pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate rebate calculations.
  • Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports for SPA rebate tracking.
  • Assist in the automation of rebate processes to improve efficiency.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Excel, Python, SQL)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Previous experience with SPA rebates or pricing analysis is a plus.
