Job Description
Develop 3D concepts and designs for complex parts, component sets, and products (lighting solutions)
Collaborate with the development team, propose technical solutions, and create cost-effective designs
Document, validate, and release mechanical designs of innovative components and complex assemblies
Propose new innovative, technical, and aesthetic concepts with feasibility studies and prototypes
Design for manufacturing (internal/external production)
Create new innovative solutions in line with product requirements (specifications, cost, quality)
Responsible for complete lighting solutions’ studies (both electrical and mechanical aspects)
Act as an expert for complete product specifications, validations, analysis, and solutions
Manage the validation plan with the laboratory
Oversee e-BOM creation and set up options for operations to generate variants in the MRP system
Provide technical reporting and implement lessons learned guidelines
Train and mentor peers in best engineering practices
2 to 5 years of experience as a Design/Development Engineer
Proficiency in SolidWorks
English language proficiency at B2 level
Knowledge of Lean system principles
