Job Description

The Digital Technology (DT) Service Enablement team is accountable for management of several cross functional services which enable Digital Technology to support our Air Products business divisions and functions.

The Process Management team within Service Enablement is responsible for several ITIL processes across the Digital Technology Organization. Process Owners are each accountable for the strategic direction of their process to maximize the efficiency of services delivered by DT and to ensure day-to-day procedures properly utilize these processes.

The Process Specialist provides support to Process Owners across the Process Management Team. This position will consult with end users regarding execution of procedures and integrations of process flow and troubleshoot to ensure processes are working as designed.

DT Process Management is focused on the execution of the following ITIL and related processes:

  • Asset and Configuration Management
  • Change Management
  • Incident Management
  • Knowledge Management
  • Problem Management
  • Product Management
  • Release Management
  • SAP Transport Management
  • Support Readiness
  • Test Management

A Process Specialist would be responsible for facilitating execution of one or more of the above processes.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Analyze and execute process requests.
  • Craft and distribute appropriate communications.
  • Monitor process performance metrics and produce statistics.
  • Consult with end users and various technical teams to provide guidance ensuring process compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and collaborate with the appropriate Process Owner(s) regarding issues; take corrective action.
  • Maintain Process Knowledge, Job Aids and Training Materials
  • Assist with identification/analysis of process and/or data quality issues.
  • Assist with design/implementation of process and data enhancements.
  • Support Process execution activities across global time zones, as needed.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • At a minimum, a graduate in any discipline with 3-4 years relevant experience in Digital Technology
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willing to work non-local hours, including weekends several times per year
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks when working on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Desire to learn and understand the intention behind the processes

A good knowledge in any of the following areas will be an advantage.

  • ServiceNow (Must have)
  • ITIL Processes (Must have)
  • Business Analysis / Continuous Improvement (Nice to have)
  • SAP
  • Qlik Tools
