This is a non-union positionEnbridge is actively seeking an Engineer III. You will be responsible for overseeing the hydraulic design for pipeline, metering and regulation facilities for expansion and maintenance capital projects to ensure compliance with Company standards and specifications, industry standards and managed to the project budget and schedule. Liaise with other Enbridge functional groups within Major Projects, Operations including Gas Control, and Business Development to ensure project and company requirements are achieved and incorporated into the design deliverables.

What You Will Do:
Provide scope of work to Project Development for further cost estimating efforts on new projects.
Provide flow conditions for pipeline, compressor, and metering facilities.
Provide capacities for FERC/CER posting information and FERC/CER reporting requirements to Regulatory Affairs.
Interact with Gas Control, Operations, Business Development, Regulatory Affairs, Project Development, Project Execution/Design as needed for new projects and existing assets.
Required:
Engineering degree
Minimum of 4 years of experience related to pipeline hydraulics/design
Preferred:
Professional Engineering designation (required in Canada; preferred in the US)
Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks accordingly
Ability to resolve complex issues based on depth and breadth of technical and business knowledge
Awareness of interrelationships with other stakeholders both internal and external to the project team
Effectively communicate technical issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff
Knowledge of the GTM assets
95% of work is office based working with multiple project teams
5% of time is in the field scoping projects, meeting with potential shippers, or supporting construction and commissioning activities
Time sensitive deliverables
Work requires strong computer skills typically using Microsoft Office applications and hydraulic modeling software packages such as WinFlow, WinTran, PipeSim, ProMax.
Company paid international relocation is not offered for this role.

Grasping, kneeling, light β moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
