Environment Consultant

ERM is seeking motivated Environment Consultant who is interested in participating on a variety of projects covering the full spectrum of ERM’s services. The role will be based in Bangkok, Thailand

ROLE PROFILE:

• Lead the environmental scopes, including providing technical inputs to the design of baseline surveys, coordinating and supervising fieldwork, drafting technical reports and sections, and providing technical advice support to baseline, environmental baseline reports, international environmental impact assessment reports and management plans.
• Apply technical knowledge in baseline environmental data collection, reporting and impact assessment and foster technical growth of junior members of the environment team.
• Undertake field trips within Thailand and other countries across APAC where needed.
• Perform site visits or inspections and supervise subcontractors as and when required for projects. Focus on preparing international environmental impact assessment and management plans.
• Provide environmental support, as and when needed, by undertaking research and data analysis for environmental and social managers within the broader Capital Project Delivery - Impact Assessment team.
• Work with ERM Thailand office and other ERM offices in the world to develop our biodiversity team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant environmental, scientific or engineering subject.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a relevant environmental field of expertise working in Environmental sampling, Environmental Due diligence or Project EHS Implementation.
• Fluent in English and Thai. The ability to communicate clearly and inclusively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel to an advanced level.
• Desirable, but not a prerequisite, skills and experience:
• Environmental baseline survey design and analysis
• Education abroad in multiple countries
