THE ROLE: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Expert Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex machinery in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a deep understanding of safety protocols and production standards.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Operates the Burn Table, Saw, & Punch

  • Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality

  • Comply with all Safety guidelines/procedures implemented by the company.

  • Operate CNC torch tables and other CNC machines with no assistance.

  • Inspect, clean, deburr, and package parts as required by job traveler.

  • Make tooling offset changes as needed to ensure part quality.

  • Perform tool and insert changes.

  • Inspect all tooling before use as required for good quality.

  • Perform change over and set ups on repeat production parts.

  • Complete First Piece Inspection sheet on new setups as required.

  • Complete Operator TPM and 5-S checks daily.

  • Perform machine adjustments, and minor maintenance and lubrication.

  • Begin to instruct others and develop trouble-shooting skills.

  • Keep machines in good repair.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED certificate

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, automation, or assembly environment

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience

  • communicate effectively to team members and management staff.

  • Basic Computer skills - Microsoft office or ERP system experience required

DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this role, the working environment is a combination of hot and cold with exposure to elements such as: noise, dust, and brightly lit areas and the physical demands may include but not limited to regularly lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds, standing for long periods, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Salary range:

$46,600.00 - $74,600.00
