Are you looking to…
As an Intermediate Environmental Project Manager, you will join our Grande Prairie, Alberta office as part of our Assessment, Remediation, Reclamation and Monitoring (ARRM) team.
The successful applicant will be 100% office-based and involved in a broad range of projects with responsibilities as follows:
Actively participate and drive Montrose strong safety culture
Support simple to moderately complex ARRM projects
Ensure internal communication and collaboration to facilitate delivery of high-quality products to meet our clients’ unique project needs
Manage project scopes, schedules and budgets
Coordinate with internal project teams across disciplines, including engineers, hydrogeologists, soil scientists and ecologists
Communicate with clients and project related stakeholders
Manage client communications and expectations
Prepare technical correspondence, proposals, work plans and cost estimates
Function effectively within and contribute to the success of a collaborative team
Proactively engage and participate in development opportunities and your career growth
Mentor and develop junior staff members
What Are We Looking For:
Technical diploma or degree in environmental science, project management or a related field
A minimum of two (2) years’ previous project management experience
Project management experience in ARRM projects in Western Canada would be considered an asset
Experience with Workday software would be an enormous asset
Experience managing client relationships
Eligibility for registration in or a member in good standing of a professional organization would be considered an asset
Familiarity with preparing work plans, cost estimates and scopes of work
Self-motivated and possess strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Detail orientated, possess good organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize
Willingness to provide direction and mentorship to more junior professionals
A valid and clean class 5 driver’s license with no restrictions

This is a permanent position with a hourly rate range of $31.73-$52.88, starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
