The IT Solution Delivery Manager, ITAR Applications is responsible for managing a staff of application business analysts throughout the development and implementation of Sensata’s controlled ITAR applications. These applications include Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (Oracle, JD Edwards, Avante) as well as Master Data Management (MDM) frameworks and tools. This role involves leading and coaching BA’s through projects including the planning, analysis, detailed design, partnering with development teams, testing, implementation, and transition to support for in scope systems. This may also involve providing scoping of enhancements and ongoing problem management for the deployed applications.
General Responsibilities
- Partners with the business team to define a roadmap, create a strategy, and execute the implementation of identified solutions
- Designs, implements, tests and deploys necessary components using the latest technologies and best practices
- Manages the selection and optimization of enterprise platforms and frameworks for supporting processes to optimize for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to market
- Partners with the PMO to establish and follow project standards and documentation requirements
- Partners with the Application Support team to ensure successful transition of new functionality and tools including problem management for existing solutions
- Reviews the current status of systems and prepares recommendations for improvements
- Manages, defines, and governs Engineering system standards, tools, best practices, through the end-to-end life cycle
- Ensures effective enterprise system deployment, and effectively manages consolidation of disparate solutions for reduced technology spend
- Manages proactive oversight and mentorship to Business Analysts fostering re-use, design for scale, stability, and operational efficiency
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- U.S. Person as defined by ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.
