THE ROLE:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Operator to oversee the operation of vessels in the assigned area. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and management skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A focus on safety, quality control, and achieving production goals is essential.

This role will work on second shift from 12PM – 8PM, after training is completed on first shift.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage the operation of vessels in the designated area.

  • Monitor and adjust flow rates, monitor the PLC, and inspect all valves to ensure proper operation.

  • Conduct visual inspections of all equipment involved in the regeneration process before starting each batch.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the production process to maintain high-quality standards.

  • Perform minor mechanical repairs on vessels and equipment as necessary.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure daily production goals are met.

  • Assist with running quality tests and loading completed units during times of low staffing.

  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of each batch, in collaboration with the technician.

  • Complete the Regen Operator certification test within 180 days.

  • Stay up-to-date with and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the regeneration process.

  • Ensure daily housekeeping standards are maintained for the area and equipment.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all team members are compliant.

  • Maintain a consistent record of attendance, which will be monitored by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 + years of mechanical work experience or related experience

  • Experience in operating process equipment within a chemical environment is preferred

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.

  • Forklift certification is preferred

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Highly motivated with a strong attention to detail.

  • Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

  • Capability to stand for long periods.

  • Ability to read, understand, and apply all relevant SOPs.

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

  • Knowledge of safety requirements and protocols.

Salary range:

$53,300.00 - $85,300.00
