Job Description
The responsibilities is related to outdoor and indoor designs including but not withstanding: road and street lighting, floodlighting, sport lighting and general-purpose areas. This will include a detailed report and consultation on delivery of the results to the intended customer/client and or sales representative.
Use of AGI32, RELUX, DIALUX and ULYSSE lighting design software, processing of lighting designs and presentation thereof.
Assist the Manager in liaison with mast manufacturers, specifiers, contractors, and the sales department to ensure that requirements for the lighting designs have been correctly interpreted.
Liaise closely with, and report to, the Manager on the completion and correctness of designs processed.
Assist the Manager with the commissioning and measurements of lighting installations across all segments, as and when required.
Conduct internal and external training for all stakeholders with regards to lighting design and use of lighting software.
Qualifications
Electrical Diploma or equivalent certification.
Lighting design software proficiency and knowledge as listed above.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the lighting industry, will be an advantage.
Knowledge of the basic principles of lighting.
Experience is AutoCAD and other design related software will be an advantage.
The candidate shall be required to travel extensively within the area and should therefore be in possession of a valid driver’s license.
The successful candidate shall be self-motivated, target driven and able to work independently.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
