Managing Consultant - Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)

About the Role:

• Collaborate on projects, manage tasks, and handle a wide range of consulting activities related to environmental and occupational safety.
• Lead and conduct environmental, social, and occupational health and safety inspections (audits), along with associated reporting, to assess compliance with relevant regulations and corporate standards across various industries.
• Prepare technical and financial proposals, as well as reports, in both Polish and English.
• Support continuous improvement in occupational health and safety performance, including injury and incident reduction, risk assessments, employee exposure evaluations, ergonomics, and process optimization.
• Lead discussions with clients on technical and commercial matters.
• Develop tailored solutions for EHS compliance, including procedures, plans, approvals, and reports.
• Implement EHS and sustainability strategies.
• Manage projects in terms of scope, budget, schedule, and quality assurance.
• Mentor team members and oversee tasks within the team.
• Work on diverse environmental, social, and health & safety projects in Poland and internationally.
• Advise industrial clients on sustainable solutions for environmental and social challenges.
• Manage projects and collaborate with international colleagues and clients.

About You:

• A degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Polish EHS regulations, with a solid understanding of EU compliance standards.
• Proven experience in conducting environmental, social, and occupational health and safety audits, including regulatory compliance assessments and corporate due diligence.
• The ability to work independently while following company standards and procedures, as well as collaborating effectively in multi-disciplinary audit teams.
• Experience in preparing audit reports, identifying non-compliances, and recommending corrective actions.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
