Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the timely delivery of raw materials, components, and supplies to support production schedules.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure accurate material requirements and availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to prevent shortages and excesses.
- Manage material storage and organization within the manufacturing facility, optimizing space utilization.
- Work closely with suppliers to track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, such as material receiving reports and inventory records.
- Identify and address any issues or delays in material flow that could impact production timelines.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures for incoming materials to meet manufacturing standards.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material handling processes.
- Assist in the implementation of safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certification in supply chain management or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a material coordinator, inventory control, or related role within a manufacturing environment.
- 0-4 years of experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various teams and suppliers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of solar panel manufacturing processes and materials is desirable but not required.
