We are currently hiring for an Order Processor to join our sales support team and contribute to our mission of creating beautifully illuminated and sustainable environments.
Job Description
This role provides a critical interface to our business. They communicate directly with sales reps, sales leadres, and upper management. The day-to-day requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication ability to ensure a smooth and efficient order processing experience. An Order Processor receives customer purchase orders and reviews them for accuracy and completeness. They digitally record relevant information regarding the various aspects of the order to ensure the factory builds what the customer ordered. The Orders team is one of the key elements within Ligman that makes our brand known for our speed and ease of doing business.
Data processing: Reviewing purchase orders for accuracy and compiling the relevant data into an order. Compiling product information from reference documents for inventory and assembly. Identifying and addressing errors or inconsistencies in orders to prevent delays or misunderstandings.
Communication: Serving as a primary point of contact for the customers. Providing them with order & product information and updating documentation when requested. Professionally addressing their issues, questions, or complaints, or forwarding them to the appropriate department. Working with sales, inventory, factory, and shipping departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education a plus.
Customer centric attitude
Strong attention to detail, problem solving, time management, and organizational skills.
Computer skills; MS Office365.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; the ability to handle issues and complaints professionally.
Willingness & ability for knowledge sharing, contributing, and learning from others.
Previous experience in order processing, data entry, customer service, or a related role a plus. Prior experience in luminaire manufacturing or distribution a plus.
