The Payroll and HR Specialist role will be responsible for assisting with payroll processes, handling employee inquiries, conducting payroll audits, ordering final checks, and supporting various HR administrative functions. This role will require strong attention to detail, organizational skills and be comfortable working on-site in an office environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Support – 
  • Assist with processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Mexican labor laws. 
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and assist in resolving discrepancies. 
  • Conduct payroll audits to identify errors, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement.
  • Communicate payroll related updates to employees in a clear and professional manner. 
  • HR Support –
  • Order background checks for new hires and ensure all pre-employment screening is completed. 
  • Track and maintain employee records, contracts, and HR-related documents in compliance with local regulations. 
  • Support HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal HR procedures.
  • Communicate benefits related updates to employees in a clear and professional manner.


Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • 2 + years’ experience in payroll.
  • 2+ years’ experience in HR preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mexican payroll and labor laws.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Must be willing to work on-site at our Mexico City location.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Compensation: 30,000 - 40,000 MXN/Month
