Job Description

As a Production Operator II, you will operate your multiple assigned positions and/or any other tasks or projects safely and efficiently to optimally produce quality work. This may include the placement and testing of electrical components, cleaning of finished products, or loading of raw materials into machines.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines according to position Standard Work Instructions (SWI)
Clean and prepare workstation and machines.
Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements.
Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems.
Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.
Check final assembly for finish, labelling, and packaging methods.
Complete other tasks as required and/or directed.
Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.

Skills

Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to distinguish between colors.
Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English.
Intermediate computer literacy; ability to analyze and interpret data read-outs.
Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, leads, coworkers, etc.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic issues with machinery/position.
Soldering experience is an asset.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1 years’ minimum Production experience, 2 years preferred.

Starting Hourly Wage of $21/hr + $2/hr night shift differential
