The Products and Service Coordinator I is responsible for effectively managing call volume (inbound and outbound) primarily driven by Duke Energy customers responding to energy efficiency offerings, products and services. Successful vetting of each request is essential to providing innovative energy efficiency solutions to customers while also aligning with Duke Energy’s goals and objectives as determined by the Florida Public Service Commission. The P&S Coordinator I is also responsible for achieving goal attainment and driving efficiency, cost effectiveness and productivity of field representatives by using technical expertise and knowledge to pre-qualify customers for Home Energy Checks and effectively schedule appointments that also meets the need of the customer. For customers participating in the Phone Assisted Audit, consultants are responsible for providing audit reports and other required documentation to ensure customers can move forward with energy conservation recommendations. The position supports the company’s efforts to promote energy efficiency programs in the communities that Duke Energy serves by attending community functions, including trade shows and other events. The position is also responsible for providing storm recovery support by fulfilling assigned Logistics role.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls

  • Complete Phone Assisted Audits and mailing reports

  • Schedule appointments for Advisors for Home Energy Check

  • Offer other products and services (sales)

  • Participate on assigned teams

  • Participate in community events and tradeshows

Basic/Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED AND two (2) years required minimum related experience


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience using Customer Information Systems

  • Sales experience

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)

  • Knowledge of Duke Energy’s Energy Efficiency Programs and Products and Service Offerings.

  • Working knowledge of Duke Energy's Customer Information System.

  • Proven sales record

  • MS Office experience

  • Salesforce/C4C experience

  • Good communication skills

Working Conditions

  • Virtual Mobility Classification - Work will be performed from a remote location after the onboarding period. However, virtual employees should live within a reasonable commute to a Duke Energy facility.
