We are seeking a motivated finance professional to join the Retirement Services (Athene) Treasury function which is part of Apollo’s broader Group Treasury and Finance Organization. Our team is responsible for the financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, Senior Management reporting, and rating agency strategy and communications related to the firm’s liquidity position, balance sheet, cash sources and uses, capital structure, and debt capacity. This role is structured to provide exposure across all fields of Retirement Services/Insurance Treasury and build an extensive knowledge of Apollo’s businesses and the retirement services and alternative asset management landscape.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate across Athene finance and deal teams to create flexible models supporting capital and liquidity projections, particularly for acquisitions and strategic initiatives
Collaborate across Athene finance teams to create and consolidate presentation materials for Athene and Apollo capital and transaction approval forums
Develop a working understanding of rating agency methodologies (S&P, Fitch, Moody’s, AM Best), including calculation of leverage and other rating agency metrics
Contribute to development and refinement of modeling approaches, particularly Athene capital (US RBC and Bermuda) and rating agency metric projections
Drive process improvements and efficiency solutions, particularly through automation of forecasting & analytics processes
Ad hoc special projects
Qualifications & Experience
4-6 years of financial analysis experience
Proven experience with balance sheet, liquidity, and/or capital forecasting, particularly in life insurance (US and Bermuda capital regimes and ratings agency models)
Proven knowledge of financial statements and experience in business reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Exposure to sophisticated organizational structures
Highly analytical; excellent Excel-based modeling
Proficiency in Oracle EPM a plus
Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills
Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with a "can do" approach
Bachelor’s degree required

Pay Range
$110,000 - $130,000Apollo Global Management, Inc. (together with its subsidiaries and affiliates) is committed to championing opportunity.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
